Not only will they utterly destroy your home, they will also cause foul odors to linger in your house, and they will eat through your prized possessions. Flies, mice, fleas, and cockroaches, are some of the very worst for spreading diseases such as these and they are also some of the more common pests that you will typically find in homes all over the country. Just one housefly can carry one million bacteria on its body and if you think about all of the things that the land on in your home, there are far too many opportunities for those diseases to be spread.

Rodents such as mice and rats are known for spreading the Black Plague that killed almost half of the population in Europe in the 14th century. They have also been found to carry diseases such as rat-bite, leptospirosis, and rickettsia pox.

If you don’t want to get sick or have your home destroyed, you should invest in the maintenance of your home and have a pest control company keep them coming into your home. You should be especially careful in the fall and spring if you live in a colder part of the country, as they will be more likely to seek out warmth and may be more hostile.
