Had A Mighty Hard Time But I’M On My Way

We all know many of us folks have debt problems. Some [read millions] have declared themselves bankrupt so they could hopefully start with a clean slate. They had a mighty hard time but with a clean slate they are on their way to glory with debt-free life. Hallelujah! Brothers and sisters. Hallelujah! They make commitment with themselves and their families that they will not make mistakes of their previous financial life.
We all know we must write something positive on the clean slate in future so we avoid the curse of debt. We must avoid things to lead us astray and in the arms of ever so pressing debt or is it depressing debt?.
Burt Lancaster was one of the greatest actors of his time. He started out, believe it or not, as a singer in his earlier show business career. Great voice, deep voice. That’s what we need – a deep and heavy but commanding voice – to inspire us so we get out of debt permanently, well, almost permanently. After all, we are Americans. Debt is in our genes. However, the less debt in our life, the better we would live.
Had A Mighty Hard Time But I’m On My Way…With a Twist
I’m on my way
Off to Debt-free land
I’m on my way
Off to Debt-free land
I’m on my way
Glory, hallelujah
I’m on my way
Watch the video. Listen to the lyrics. Hear Burt sing.
OOps! I mean listen to the Bird of Alcatraz sing.
Well, I’m on my way
Off to Debt-free land
I’m on my way
Off to Debt-free land
I’m on my way
Off to Debt-free land
I’m on my way
Glory, hallelujah
I’m on my way
Had a mighty hard time
But I’m on my way
Had a mighty hard time
But I’m on my way
It’s a mighty hard climb
But I’m on my way
On my way
Glory, hallelujah
I’m on my way
All along the way
Debt lies a-waitin’
Every night and day
Debt lies a-waitin’
Hear me shout and say
Get behind me, Debt
I’m on my way
Glory, hallelujah
I’m on my way
Fight the debt-devil and pray
Take another step higher
Fight the debt-devil and pray
Lord, I want to climb higher
Chase the debt-devil away
Lord, I’m caught in its fire
I’m on my way
Glory, hallelujah
I’m on my way
Lord, I’m on my way
Lord, I’m on my way
Lord, Lord
Lord, I’m on my way
I’m on my way
In a Nutshell
When you start with a clean slate, you would be a fool to make the same mistakes that got you keep stepping into the debt shit. Make the same shitty mistakes over and over again and prepare yourself declaring bankruptcy one more time.
